1986 Mini Mayfair Restoration

This 1986 Mini Mayfair was an unusual cashmere gold with brown velour and has had one lady owner from new. However, having been stored and off the road for a number of years, this Mini restoration was quite a project.

The restoration required a full front end replacement, door skins, a panels, rear wings, boot floor repair and wheel refurbishment.

The subframes were stripped, colour coded and powder coated, we also rebuilt new bushes and bearings and gave the suspension an overhaul.  Lastly, we gave it a quick engine tidy and re gasket before it was serviced, MOT'd and returned to the owner where it is back in use for dry days.
