This Mini restoration project was a real challenge for The Real Mini Company as we were told it simply couldn't be done. However, that didn't stop us and we got to work on converting a 1987 Mini Mayfair into a Mk1 replica.

To convert the Mini we had a range of modifications to incorporate including:

Rear light conversion
Addition of external door hinges - this is what we were specifically told could not be done
Incorporation of a centre speedo
Addition of a Mk1 bonnet and boot with moustache grill and over-riders

The end product will be just what Stuart was looking for and proof that if we put our mind to it, The Real Mini Company can complete any Mini restoration or conversion.
