MPI Mini Cooper Restoration

This was a restoration of a late Mini Cooper which came into The Real Mini Company workshop from Gloucester and although drivable, it was in no real fit state to be on the road and needed plenty of work.

First the interior and exterior were stripped back but the inner wings and floor were so bad, the engine and sub-frames had to be removed. From the roof pillars down, all the panels were replaced as part of this Mini restoration project. While the engine was out it was reconditioned, new sub-frames were powder-coated and built up with all new suspension and bushes. Bare shell paint and rebuilt with many new parts, this Mini Cooper has a full length electric webasto sun roof.
