Clive Beattie Mini Mayfair Restoration

The restoration of Clive Beattie's 1987 Mini Mayfair as a special project for The Real Mini Company, not simply because this particular Mini restoration would see every panel on the Mini except the roof replaced, but because the project was in memory of Clive's father who introduced him to Mini's and with whom he would attend various Mini runs and events with.

This Mini restoration project saw the shell restored, prepared and painted as well as the addition of a roll cage in the Mini. The project included back end panel work, new door skins and a two-piece, carbon-fibre front end. The Mini will also run with extra-wide carbon arches and a carbon rear valance.

With a complete under seal of the shell, Clive's MIni has also been painted in Ford Imperial Blue with a black roof and will be a very fast road or track MIni.

Clive has big plans for his Mini which he will now have back to rebuild at his leisure, while we are hoping it will be included as a Mini restoration main feature in a popular Mini publication soon.
