Classic Mini Clubman 1100: A Remarkable Restoration

Embarking on an extraordinary project in South Oxfordshire, The Real Mini Company restores a Classic Mini Clubman 1100 to its former glory.

The restoration of this 1-owner car began with its collection from a garden in Croydon. With precision and passion, the work started with the car being striped and spot blasted.

A full body shell restoration then took place with nearly every panel needing to be replaced.

While this work was carried out, the engine and gearbox were removed and dismantled, then rebuilt which included an upgrade to the latest unleaded conversion.

Following months of dedicated work, the restored body shell then went to paint. And what a stunning transformation… the Clubman 1100 emerged from paint, with its original black colour, sporting a lustrous shine.

Time for the rebuild… putting the car back together piece by piece with meticulous precision and passion. A newly upholstered interior, a freshly chromed bumper were just a couple of details that went into this head-to-toe restoration.
