The Real Mini Company is Supporting SANDS

The Real Mini Company owner Daniel Budd is no stranger to fund-raising having raised money in the past year for both Cancer Research and the Firefighters Charity. However, his latest charitable efforts have seen him focus on an organisation who have touched close friends in their time of distress.

"A close friend of mine suffered the devastating loss of her baby in November last year" explains Dan. "Sadly, Stanley James Thompson was born sleeping on November 16th 2012 and Leanne and Steve were obviously absolutely devastated.
 

"Oxfordshire SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity) offered Leanne and Steve help and support at this very difficult time and having seen how they helped them to cope, I felt compelled to use this opportunity to help raise some money for what I believe is a very worthy charity."

Dan is registered to participate in the Oxford Half Marathon on October 13th and hopes that his efforts will be rewarded by charitable donations. "I know times are hard and there are always people asking for money but this really is a cause well worth supporting because of the exceptional work they do in distressing circumstances."
