The Real Mini Company Features at Mini in the Park
/The Real Mini Company recently wowed the crowds at the legendary Mini in the Park event at the Santa Pod Raceway. Exhibiting examples of the most recent Mini restoration projects, owner Daniel Budd and the team were able to demonstrate to visitors the high level of workmanship that anyone using their services will come to expect.
"Mini in the Park is an event that any Mini enthusiast should go to" said The Real Mini Company owner Daniel Budd. "It's a classic event for the classic Mini and the atmosphere here is always electric. There are so many different types of Mini here that you are constantly surprised and that's one of the reasons I love coming here."
This wasn't the first time that The Real Mini Company had attended Mini in the Park, in fact it's fair to say that Dan and the team are becoming a permanent fixture at the event which is held annually at The Santa Pod Raceway near Wellingborough, Northants. "Yes we've been for the past four years" explains Dan.
"It was great for us to be here this year as we've had the opportunity to show off our new branding. The new branding has been applied across all our livery as well as our Twitter and Facebook pages and the new website which will go live towards the end of August."
These are exciting times for The Real Mini Company who recently moved to new premises just a short distance from the ancestral home of the Mini in Oxford.
The new workshop has a purpose-built paint shop as well as storage areas for the various Mini restoration projects the company undertakes. "Because we offer a pay-as-you-go Mini restoration scheme, there are times when cars need to be stored while the owners save for the next stage of the work" explains Dan. Now that we have moved we have plenty of space for the cars which we store for free so we feel that we offer great value for anyone seeking to restore a classic Mini."
