Mini Se7en Run Raises £1,000 & Still Rising
/On September 19th 2015 The Real Mini Company sponsored the Mini Se7en fun run in aid of Cystic Fibrosis and so far more than £1,000 has been raised.
The run took place at the legendary Silverstone race circuit as the Mini Se7en Racing Club closed it's 2015 championship season by celebrating 50 years of racing competition. The Real Mini Company owner Daniel Budd took part in the 3.66 mile run finishing in a very respectable 3rd while the winner was someone well-known to Mini racers; Kane Astin. The win was the icing on the cake for Kane who is also the Mini Miglia champion this season.
All the finishers received a classy water bottle in either the pink or black Real Mini Company colour scheme to celebrate their accomplishment but the main result was the money raised. "It was a pleasure to take part and to help raise money for this very worthy cause "said TRMC owner Daniel Budd. "It was also an honour to be able to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the championship and getting the number 50 running number will make a proud keepsake" he continued.
